We arrived safely with our team. Enjoying the castle at Hurlach. As I sit here, I am listening to chickens clucking and cows mooing. Birds are singing in the trees and I can hear the low murmur of voices over at the castle. Soon we will have our breakfast as a team and we are off to see the local quarry and go swimming. yesterday, we arrived after a long trip and came immediately to the castle. the day was warm but comfortable, temperatures in the 70's. When we arrived the YWAM base here with alive with activity. they were hosting their family connections day and the grounds are filled with happy children and moms and dads. we were able to help the missionaries by breaking down all of the equipment and helping with dishes as well. it's a very positive event for the community and builds bridges to share the gospel.
our team is made up of homeschooling kids and their parents from various states. We are from Texas, Virginia, North Carolina and New Hampshire. please pray for good relationships on a focus and dependency on the Lord! I know I need it.
